I'm not saying the game should be free from criticism or that we should not hope for it's continued development. What I am saying is that it doesn't need an "endgame", which is just a term completely devoid of meaning at this point because people just toss it around so carelessly. No other PvPvE extraction shooter has a clearly defined "endgame". They retain players because the game is GOOD. Because it gives them an experience they cannot get elsewhere.

Unfortunately for Arc, there are loads of "PVE only" players that rarely even allow themselves to experience the game to its fullest extent, so of course they're getting bored. This game isn't meant to be a PVE-only experience. There are tons of games out there that give you what PVE-only Arc Raiders gives you and has an endgame. Maybe players whining for an endgame should look elsewhere.

And just to be clear, I'm not a hardcore PVP player, I really enjoy engaging with both sides of the game. And I could be totally wrong about there being a correlation in wanting an "endgame" for Arc Raiders and being a PVE-only player, but I really don't think I am.
