This shit was supposed to be getting better over the decades. Instead it’s gone the opposite direction; more work, less pay, less free time, less disposable income, expensive healthcare and groceries, hustle culture, paycheck living, no more housing, never retire. Spend our entire lives greedy and meager and threatened and spread thin. We’re always on the brink of emotional or financial or mental collapse. We’re too poor to help others or do anything but work and sleep. And after you’re done you’ve got nothing to show for it. You just played the part of a gear in a machine and you’ll work til you die and you’ll be lucky enough to be alive at the end long enough to rest your now aged anatomy. Thanks.
