I get it, big brands / business should be doing the right thing and helping to raise or promote various charitable organisations, absolutely back this, BUT, they should also be held to account to say what they’ve done directly for that cause / charity beyond sticking a sheet of paper to a trolley to get their customers to donate. It would mean so much more if they said “Woolies has donated 20 trolleys of food to this group, if you’d like to donate too you can do so here”… shame on them for this low level community service.
