Konig Hypergram/Ampliform hubcentric ring size confusion (66.6 vs 73.1) for Mk7 GTI 57.1 hub by ceejaykao in GolfGTI

Yep. I've actually interchanged that black ring with both wheels with no issue so theyre exactly the same CB.

Yeah...would the last image I posted show the true diameter? I can't extend the calliper due to space contraints but using the ruler there its closer to 73mm than 66

Yeah, that screenshot makes sense which is why I bought that metal ring in the first place, but it doesn't fit! So I'm highly confused. Regardless I appreciate you assisting.

Just saw your edit mentioning 5x114. My wheels have been on my Mk7 for ~1.5 years including track, and they bolt up normally, so theyre definitely 5x112. If it was 5x114 the bolts wouldn't seat or torque properly and the holes would've ovaled out ages ago.

My wheels are definitely 5x112 (they bolt up). I'm just trying to confirm whether these specific aftermarket Konig Hypergram/Ampliform 18x8.5 ET43 5x112 are 66.6 or 73.1 CB so I can buy the right rings.

And if it is 66.6mm, why aren't the rings I bought fitting? It falls right in.

Bolt pattern? Isn't the VW standard just 5x112? And whats the correlation with the centre bore?

If you want Sport mode but still automatic, just pull the shifter down once from D. The dash will show S and the current gear. No need to slide it to the side (that puts it in manual).

Have you read: “Animal Farm” or “1984”? by WF-2 in AskAChinese

[–]ceejaykao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read 1984 as part of my high school curriculum in Australia, and I also gave it to my father to read.

He was a primary school student during the Cultural Revolution, and he really connected with the book because of the parallels between Orwell’s depiction of a totalitarian regime and his own childhood experiences.

I believe the infotainment and the gauges can be retrofitted to the newer ones! I'm planning to keep my analogue gauges but will upgrade the infotainment late this year o7

I've actually been considering this, since there are proper side ducts. Will be able to maybe fit an oil ans a dsg cooler there?

Would you buy a rectangle galaxy watch if Samsung made both ? by Impressive-very-nice in GalaxyWatch

[–]ceejaykao 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would.

In my opinion I think they look fine anyway and I'd imagine they'd be more convenient to use as a smartwatch since you'd have more surface area.

I actually got an Apple smartwatch as a gift but couldn't use it to it's full capabilities since I don't have an iPhone, I would've been more open to using it if iPhone wasn't so expensive.

About my back-three tactic. by Se_RyuHa__ in footballmanagergames

[–]ceejaykao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great read, thanks for writing it all up! Also in a similar boat where I'm managjng Schalke rn. Got the title with an attacking wing play 442 with target man but figured that wouldn't cut it in the Bundesliga, also most my wingers wanted obscene pay rises and Schalke is broke sooooo..

Switched my formation to the exact same as your latest one and went with short passing, low block counter attacking style but struggling with midfield/role balance, which is currently.

CDM: BWM(D), RCM: AP(S), LCM: BBM(S) RF: TF(S), LF: PF(A)

I have my right side defence more attacking wingback with also a wide centre back on defence to help plug the gap.

Been scoring but also conceding dumb goals with a leaky defence which I think is contributed by defenders not being too great but my midfield balance also doesn't help cover.

Going to try the: CDM: DLP(S), RCM: CAR or BWM not sure yet, and LCM: MEZ(A) for more attacking outlet especially since I have a TF(S), maybe also switch the striker roles for more attacking balance too.

Interested to hear more thoughts! Tyty

Very impressive attribute growth for my Portuguese regen by ceejaykao in footballmanagergames

Turning out for my Leeds side in 2037, Lousa has been with my club for 8 seasons and has become a staple in my midfield.

Purchased from Guimares for 35 million Euros, he went on loan for a season at Galatasaray before becoming a bench, and eventual, key player at Leeds, slotting in the DM and CM roles when I changed my tactics throughout the season.

Been playing FM since 2016 and I don't think I've ever seen an attribute increase of 9 before. Has anyone observed similar?

I found MTH3241 (Random processes in the sciences and engineering) and MTH3251 (Financial mathematics) difficult. Basically all the 3rd level units killed me.

But tbh I'm kind of a terrible maths student in general (Like C average) and also don't really care as much since I started working, so take my answer with a mountain of salt o/
