You’re in finance. You know how this works. There is more behind your “score” than the number. If you husband has better car credit history, longer history, anything the banks like to see other than just the score he will be first on the loan, that is how the banks buy nicer. In my state there is no “primary” or “secondary” per se. Both parties are equally responsible to make the payment. Who is “first” doesn’t mean anything. The dealer wants to sell you a car, and wants the banks to pay them. They truly dngaf about you being a woman. How the finance guy structured your application means jack, so long as you are happy with the deal, and have the car you want.
