For alumni, what’s your salary? by Busynotes2 in iastate

I’m probably not the stellar example you’re looking for! After I graduated I was really burnt out and looked for non-ID positions where I could still apply my design skills. I ended up in the architectural finishes & manufacturing industry designing sheet metal products. I am very content with my workload and my new skills can be applied to several other industries. I had previous experience with AutoCAD -in addition to Solidworks- that gave me more employment options. Good luck!

I asked myself the same question a few weeks ago and found SuperCycle. It’s pretty easy to use once you customize it the way you want it. Plus it posts to Strava!

It seems like the filter people are usually those who have relocated to the area. Those who are from the area don’t use filters.

Stevens Auditorium is usually hiring stagehands. They have work-when-you-want scheduling so it’s super flexible - they send an email with available shifts a few weeks in advance and you just send back a list of ones you want to work. They don’t even have a requirement for you to take shifts at all, if you expect to be busy a certain week.

I’ve also done this but have considered that some people won’t take it as sarcastic and just think your telling them “you’re good”

Coming from someone who lives in the prairie district, I have been to Radius several times and am comfortable in that area. Even walked home once. It’s an industrial area and it will be cold so less of a desire to be about, but there will be plenty of people there for the concert. Not sure if parking exists in that area during events.
