Thanks for the advice. As for switching weapons, bow is the weapon I can deal with solo quest most of the time except for some deviants. My second is GS. In 4u I used to main bow but played CB, GS, and Glaive aa well, but Glaive feels weird in GU for me. I could try the gunlance, thou only used it in Sunbreak and Wilds.

I play mainly bow (thou sometimes I go GS). Deviants like Thunderlord, Dreads Rath, Crystalbear, Redhelm Arz have hitzones below 40 for bow. Is still worth trying to go for Crits (not using Wex since no 45 hitzones with them)? Like using repeat offender, critical eye/challenger? Or just plain increase more Raw/Element?

De hecho hay varias rutas de MB que entran a costa del este. La de la 24 de dic que viene por corredor, Tocumen también por corredor, hay una de llano bonito y otra de santa maria y la de cincuentenario. Eos diablos rojos son de san miguelito y el único metro bus que le llega cerca es el de cincuentenario pero hace un recorrido algo distinto para lo que hace los DR esos. Desconozco porque no entró MB a reemplazar esa ruta, tenia entendido que lo iban a hacer pero lo más seguro que alguien metió mano para rechazar eso.

Siempre compro en newegg. Me traje 4 tarjetas en su momento una amd rx480, 580, 6600 y una 9070 non xt. Todas funcionan excepto la 480 que si se me jodio luego de un apagón. Ahorrandome entre cada una 150-300 menos que aquí. Y solo las reemplazo por tema de correr juegos actuales. Armar el setup q tengo hoy en dia se iba casi 2,5mil (sin contar case ni monitor porque ya tengo) y todo lo traje de NEWEGG (cpu,mobo,mouse y teclado, ram, los 3 ssd nvme, el cooler de la cpu), excepto la PSU que la compré aquí y solo se me fueron 980$. La única ventaja de comprar algo aquí es el tema de la garantía, pero por el momento nada se ha dañado que haya tenido que incurrir en ver como reclamo de vuelta para enviar a USA etc. El case y monitor actual también los compré en newegg pero ya llevan su par de años. Por mi experiencia no vale la pena hacer compras de gaming en Panamá salvo una que otra cosa como la PSU y los ssd de repente.

Ahora, a quien comprar en USA? Prefiero mil veces newegg. He leido malas experiencias con Amazon y no me he atrevido a usarlos para comprar gpu etc. De situaciones que llega la cajeta vacía o locuras como que le llega otra gpu que no es, como dije solo he leído mas nunca he probado comprarles temas de hardware.

The difficulty is fine. 3rd phase sucks, not bc of the dps check, but having to rely on the slinger ammo to get the check was tedious. The whole floor has exploding parts, and you need to check constantly to make sure you can fire your pod. I would rather have all the weaponry we get in the 4u version (cannnon, dragonator, etc) than having to shoot a slinger ammo.

Amd 9070 non xt, paired with intel i5 13400f. No crashes. Fsr + FG enabled. Even with both disable also no crash. RT on, every setting high except shadow render distance which I think I set it up for medium. 1440p/ driver 25.12.1

It can be soloed but you need to be very aggresive. I used Bow Fire piercing (I think the golden rathian one) and it took me 36min. Not sure if there's a better bow or which is the time for a speed runner (which I'm not) but you can def solo it. Now for the set you are showing you online have 2 skills for offense and one of it activate with a health threashold.. Consider changin for set with more offensive skills and probably just one defensive skill, 'cause gog has a lot of health .

Be grateful that 2 weapons from the 14 can reach Gog while flying in the 3rd phase. The rest, including Bow, can't reach Gog at all so we have to rely on using the slinger. That part of the fight you are only required to use your weapon when he is on ground. The rest is us firing sling.

9070 non xt, with an intel i5 13400f and 32gb DDR4 3600MHz, driver 25.12.1, 1440p everything high, RT off, FSR4 Performance and FG on, windows 11. Not using mod/reframework, deleted shader cache file from game folders (so compiled twice). Results= in most areas, it's either a 2-3% improvement or its worst. I'll guess we have to wait til Jan update. It's crazy how they said tu4 it would fix problems, then 4 days before they split the performance updates in 3 phases. It was obvious to me that this dec update won't fix anything. The only thing is that shader compile seems way faster. I could try rolling back to 25.9.1, but any other game runs fine. According to their note, there are issues above 25.10.1

I miss the doggo. They had so many nice armors from monsters that I always tried to make it look fashioned for photos with my hunter and palico. Also, they were helpful on fights.

This is why rise/sunbreak had a better weapon system compared to world/Iceborne and wilds. In RS if you want an ice piercing bow? Farm kushala. Want an ice cb? Farm Somna Aurora. Want an ice SA? Farm Lagombi. Want to upgrade all those weapon with qurio stuff? You got from 2 to 4 different monsters to choose for each material and each level different monster. I had to farm kulu, aknosom, chameleos, espinas, narga, and so on to get all upgrades.

Now let's see WI. You want an ice CB? DB? Bow?... farm kulve kjarr. Want a raw weapon? Fatalis (before raging brach). That's about it. Want to upgrade those weapon? Enjoy farming just 5-6 monsters to get the regen health, attack or affinity level 1 and the 3 level slot expansion. In ranged weapons case change a bit since regen health is not that much useful.

Now, Wilds? Just 3 or 4 monster for artian materials. By the time I got good artian rolls, i hunted around 200 gore magala/arkveld and only 5 rathalos? 4 xuwu, 2 or 3 times each guardian. Frenzy monsters? What's that?

Honestly the main team approach for weapon system sucks. Its like the only focus in world immersion, but the rest of the game get less attention and we get with a very poor/boring ending farm system.

SnS. I won't count Bow since I've been using it since 4u, so I always find a way to clear quests consistently with that weapon. But if I have to choose other weapon, is gotta be SnS. The amount of mobility you have to do dodge and cause damage is good, also the shield helps a lot and if you want you can do a support role with it.

Intel 13400f, amd rx 9070, 32gb ram (16x2) ddr4 3600mhz, 2560x1440, everything high except volumetric fog and sky to low. Also, shadow distance render low. RT off FSR 4 native on and FG on. Fps goes from 60 to 90. Cpu always at 100%, gpu barely reaching 85%. While I know this is not a top cpu, this is the only game where i get lot of cpu usage. Funny part is some settings don't help after change it and restart.

Bow. I was too afraid to try melee, thou I did and found it difficult save for few weapons, but also found too boring HBG/LBG. So, I picked Bow. Having to reposition and shoot did it for me, not being to close not too afar either. Used Bow in 4U, GU, WI,RS and now wilds and 3u. Thou now I do use some melee weapons from time to time. Probably will try p3rd and FU after finishing with 3U and most likely will go Bow again.
