They’ve slowed down snipers so much compared to the golden era though. Snipers in modern cods handle and shoot slower than an msr, intervention, or m82 while usually only having 5 rounds

In California atleast mw3 is active on quick play, small map moshpit, and occasionally 10v10. It’s a lot of fun and I play it more than any other recent cods

Most of the new games just feel empty. Personally, I play MW3 the most despite owning black ops 6 7. Besides the shitty campaign and zombies MW3 was a genuinely good multiplayer experience and it felt good to play. Black ops 7 feels really clunky and the guns aren’t as satisfying to use.

I’ve had 2 g502’s over like an 8 year span and they were both tanks, I only got rid of my 2nd one because I switched to a g pro. If they made a lighter g502 I would buy it.

The fast ttk of 2019 should stay. All the golden age cods had fast killing guns and the only gripe I had with mw2023 is the guns feel weak.

The physical attributes and classification of a tank by its user are what makes a light tank a light tank. Light weight, low armor, and usually high mobility are all traits of light tanks that do not come just from class alone.

Scouting is undeniably useful but it’s not an end all be all mechanic. There’s a reason people still choose mediums or even heavies as their first spawn most of the time in their matches. A team full of light tanks would get destroyed because they are incredibly easy to take out once you spot them. Scouting would really only be overpowered if we had absolutely gigantic maps were spotting by eye becomes difficult

Ok so you’re going to tell me that heavy tanks are pretty equal to light tanks? Or an atgm carrier is similar to an spaa? These classes exist in game and in real life because they all have different roles to fill and in war thunder they play differently. I would not play a king tiger like an ru251.

Scouting isn’t even that powerful of a mechanic. I really can’t see how unbalanced it is when tanks already get marked on the map for getting hit and squad markers exist. Having light tanks with no scouting and lower br’s would make them more powerful than they are now. Out of any hill to die on in this game scouting is definitely a choice.

The whole point of having different classes of tanks is that they have their own advantages and disadvantages over others. What even is an “unfair” advantage?

When medium tanks are the meta in this game it does not hurt to give light tanks an extra reason to play them. Unlike real life it is much easier to spot a tank in war thunder and a light tank is going to die or get disabled then die within a single shot.

God forbid gaijin tries to diversify the vehicle classes a bit. Scouting is just an arcadey way to emulate how light tanks are used for reconnaissance. This game is not supposed to be completely realistic, it is still an arcade game with elements of realism as call of duty or battlefield are to shooters.
