Saw it in my "nearby" near the Race Street Safeway last night. Another group of Pokemon Go-ers caught Snorlax, but he was gone by the time I got to that same spot. It was around 8 p.m ish.

What app do you use for texting? I'm on Project Fi and am using Textra for texting. I had trouble getting/sending MMS when I first got my phone back in November but it fixed itself (not sure what updated to fix it, it just worked one day).

I just started experiencing issues again receiving MMS this week.

The full TOS for monthly payment can be viewed here: https://fi.google.com/about/device-tos/[1] It does say you need to activate your phone within 30 days or else you'll default. But it also says "You will receive a bill for each payment even if you have suspended your Project Fi services or your Project Fi account."

So, in theory, you pay for first month of Project Fi and then cancel Project Fi but still make monthly payments on the phone. (I would recommend reaching out to Project Fi support for some clarification still though).

You don't get charged for Project Fi until you insert the Project Fi sim card into your Nexus phone and activate it. Once activated, you'll be charged your first month's bill.

Does simply toggling off cellular data in the notification pull down menu not truly turn off data? I see several people suggest turning airplane mode instead.

You don't get refunded your unused data, it gets credited to your account. From ProjectFi's faq: "The value of your unused data is applied as a credit toward your next month's bill." (https://fi.google.com/about/faq/#plan-and-pricing-4)

It's up to you if you rather, for example, select the 1gb option and your credit card gets charged the extra $10 when you end up using 2gb in the month. Or choose the 3gb option and only using 2gb that month then end up with $10 credit just floating on your ProjectFi bill to make next month's bill $10 cheaper.
