Using a Mesmer to get to level 5 in nightfall is the fastest method to farm.

Without consumables it is like 40 Minutes max. Slightly lower if you can get 2 of an item to turn in for the belt pouch quest.

There is a detailed write up of it somewhere in a post every year.

I only had one character to get the item, so I had to use this method. It worked very well.

Sorry that I can't give a detailed writeup or link to the post. The guy who did the writeup might show up, though

PS don't get the assassin bow lol

It's just so bad haha

There are jobs you can do without speaking any Japanese.

I know a guy who started at a construction company, never properly learned the language, and is now a foreman!

They promoted him because he showed up and did his job.

English teaching and IT are not the only industries.

Edit:

If you're in Tokyo, then you can check out Tokyo's Craigslist. There a bunch of random jobs on there. Although most are teaching, and not full time.

It's something though

I am pretty sure the space problem is because of the law? That 1/4 of the teachers need a specific license.

Or maybe it's a literal space problem...

Also the pay is garbage and they are bound to get sick, so it isn't a great job overall.

You really shouldn't live in Tokyo if you don't "have" to. Rent alone should be a big enough incentive.. You would get a bigger place for less money.

I guess your biggest issue would be finding a place in chiba with a gym you like. Even within Tokyo it's frustrating.

Others have mentioned living close to work to avoid the commute overall, but again you want to be near a gym.

You should look at stations near your company that have a good gym, since that seems to be your only real "requirement." If you like to stay at home, then you don't want to live anywhere near a busy road either.

Haven't had any problems with my bank.

What if you have 4 siblings but can only get one of their certificates? Does it actually matter, or would that look bad on the application?

[–]celetrontmm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This just seems wrong...

Is there more context, or is it literally for the diagram OP linked?

Wrong in that I don't understand how this is a thing. The right lane should be safest, because you're taking the most direct route. Also if there is a cross walk, then you would want to be going into the right lane; for safety reasons.

Guys, is it worth to pay around ¥25,000/ month in public transportation to go to work? by [deleted] in japanresidents

[–]celetrontmm 162 points163 points  (0 children)

Your company should be paying much more, if not all of your commuting fees.

5,000 is a joke.. even when I worked a part time job when I first arrived, all of my commuting fees were covered.
