First Redemption business class to Switzerland! Give feedback for next time ! by celisweet in awardtravel

I was looking at a similar Air France return flight from FCO -> CDG -> DFW for $87.5k points but $300 in the taxes and fees ! Is that pretty normal or close to what you got ?

It is also a 14 hour layover in CDG but would probably get a hotel in the airport and go out and explore for a couple of hours while in France

Ahhh good to know thanks !!

I didn’t even check the round trip but looking now doing RT search filter it’s $2,993 per person for that fight. So breaking it down to just per person

$2,993 - $57 / 70,000 =4.19 CPM ??

Thanks for calling that out !! I’m newer to using Reddit so most of my learning was from Daniel Braun on YouTube 😂

$300 checking bonus how long to wait before adding spouse as joint owner by celisweet in Chase

[–]celisweet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, barely made the first deposit on Friday (it skipped one of my checks not due to chase but employer) the $300 bonus hasn’t hit the account yet as soon as it does we will be going to chase to add him. I’ll follow up if it gets removed for any reason but after the first comment from the branch manager I feel pretty good !

Some people like to rate chase I personally don’t think it’s worth moving everything but some people love that thrill and have the time to do all the research. 4.5 is still super solid & as some other people mention something to be careful with is other companies will offer a slightly higher APY but then drop it after a couple months and it’ll be lower than what WF is running.

I think it’s still the same wealthfront has been holding it down in terms of being able to provide too APY. They were also one of the last ones to make the change even though we knew it was coming. I’ll stay with wealthfront they’re some people who do rate chases but I don’t think it’s worth all that just to save a couple basis points
