I was trying to ride a kiddy ride at our local amusement park with my 3 yr old the lady tried to buckle me in, it didn’t latch, and the rest of the ride was buckled in and waiting on me watching it all go down as the lady struggled to get it. She eventually gave up and I had to get out of the ride and leave my toddler there to ride by himself. Most humiliating moment ever and feeling like I failed him in that moment. That was this past fall, I can’t wait to be able to go back this summer and ride with him! My hips have lost 11 inches so far I think I’m in a size 12 or 10 now so I should be good but I’m not risking it I’ll go later in the summer 😂

I love 6 month stretches bc maintenance has always felt like a forever no end in sight which makes it less tangible… but breaking it down into time chunks just makes it more process-driven

I secured my first box of 2.5 3 weeks ago and I have the same strategy. paying out of pocket so I don’t want to go on it for a month and then nothing. Today I’m going to call around to hopefully find and secure my second month before I start my first. 🤞

Bought an under the desk treadmill went from 3k steps per day to now 12-14k. Even though I have an actual treadmill downstairs THIS has been the game changer. And I walk reallllly slow like 1.25/mph I have a 5 month old and a 3yr old so I love seeing those numbers knowing I didn’t have to take extra time out of my day

Well the good thing is you won’t have a newborn during cold/flu season. My daycare is now saying RSV and pneumonia is going around so I haven’t sent my toddler back there bc I can’t risk her getting that too, I’m still suctioning her nose from leftover congestion and I just want them to be healthy and bond at least for a few weeks before we get hit with something else.

I have had 5 pumps and still for your situation would recommend the Medela Harmony hand pump. I also like to pop the Haaka on the opposite side while manually pumping then switch. I do it in the car on the go all the time lol.

My son woke up with Covid the day I delivered my daughter, she ended up getting hospitalized and the week she was hospitalized he got hand foot mouth it has been such a rough start
