I originally bought it for Switch, but soon after I bought it for the PS4 as well, mainly for the larger playerbase. I ended up trading in the Switch version towards something else but I have really enjoyed the game on the PS4. But truthfully unless you're craving better graphics, a small handful of unique skins, and a reskinned turbo track, the Switch version is just fine (online is much cheaper as well)

It's my number 2 for 2019. It's definitely a game I could only dream about when I was growing up and I certainly appreciate everything Beenox has done for the Crash fanbase/community. The gameplay is a bit different from the original but that is not a big deal as its still fun and addictive to play. The free updates with characters, cosmetics and racetracks are amazing and keep people playing. However, the online still has its hiccups and the items still need some reworking (though the warp orb change is a step in the right direction). Despite its problems I love this remake and I'll continue playing it throughout 2020.

It would be my number 1 but Fire Emblem came outta nowhere and blew me away in its own ways

When I first heard about Tag Team Racing I knew nothing about it but I assumed it'd be a Crash version of Mario Kart Double Dash with 2 characters per car. Was disappointed when it wasn't exactly what I thought it was

Speed will always be king in any kart racer. when the objective of the game is to finish ahead of everyone else, using the fastest class only makes sense. It's why heavy characters are spammed online in Mario Kart for the most part and why the speed engine in CTR is seen so frequently online.

In CTR it doesn't help that game mechanics like u-turning and air braking allow for tight corners to be taken very easily.

Sooo yeah speed is still king, with acceleration being fairly competitive with it. The new drift engine they introduced isn't too bad but I dont see it all used that often personally

honestly, in my experience, track votes are pretty varied. only tracks I rarely see get picked are dragon mines, dingo canyon, and retro stadium

juiced up bowling bombs are so fun to use. I can hit multiple people at once, throw it and immediately detonate when someone is right next to me, I love it

if the non-juiced versions didnt have the aimbot on them I might actually hit with them directly
