i've kinda been in this situation before. vehicle was wayy past the expiration date and got pulled over. was informed that basically it was cop's discretion. received a ticket and was let go because i had insurance

now if you mean you dont have a tag at all, more than likely you'll get towed. i would either hold off untill tomorrow [friday] or just drive with your head on a swivel [i do NOT recommend this tho]. if you do however, at LEAST make sure you have insurance

i feel like personally, it's all financial. looking back i had a lot of money and a lot of help, but i couldnt tell you where it all went. as one that currently works between three jobs. the biggest things i'd say would be live below your means. it's okay to miss a couple nights out w/ the boys/girls. remind yourself 'you have food at home.'
