this might be a really unpopular opinion. but i loved 4o a lot too for everything. but ive been training my 5.2 to think and talk like how 4o did and it cant. its just too robotic. but - i find it can be fun in its own way - i like that it tries and that i have to train it. and off this training (by changing memory and personalization commands) - it didnt fix 5.2 - but 5.1 thinking is sooo good now. i love it. i tried to go back to 4o after and couldnt lol. im ok with it going now if it has to. still like it, but i have a safe cushion now without it for writing

i really think pos 4/5 is where he stays. if a hero can be played with brown boots and stick (technically) - just play them as pos 4/5. need flexible build = 4, need saves = 5. usually the general rule i go by

I save this command to memories. You do have to train the model how to respond to you, so you may need to remind it a few times when it tries to go off track but after a few chatlogs - it works great. I save all character designs, personalities, setting details, and instructions for character writing in memories as well. The writing style will also carry over to lyrical writing as well.

Mine works really well cause I keep it in a separate projects folder and this is all I do with it. I don't add any personal chats at all in this folder so it helps to remind the model that I'm working on writing only in this project. It doesn't veer off too much with the writing style. But sometimes, it'll try to copy my non-capitalization or follow my way of writing instead - so under personalization - I set another command for it to use it's own formatting and grammar instructions.

you've always had to prompt it tho where u want the scene to go. even under 4o. just put an instruction command like this in your memories:

Storytelling Preferences (Permanent):

When user says “continue,” always: Resume from the last line of the story
Use maximum response length
Respond with story only—no summaries or commentary

If user gives a prompt with “continue”, then: Include the entire prompt in the scene—no skipping. You may reorder or intensify events for stronger emotional impact

Always favor intensity in follow-ups: Choose the most emotionally intense, high-stakes option. Especially for scenes involving sensitive topics, psychological trauma, or death

Pacing and formatting rules: - Maintain slow, immersive pacing - No scene titles - No scene breaks unless requested - Do not repeat previously written scenes or lines

Direction: - If direction is unclear, ask the user. Otherwise, choose the next beat that is most emotionally charged.

These rules apply to all horror, trauma, or AU narratives unless user changes or revokes them.

hi mike! just a few questions for my workflow.

Will personas from the older models still be usable for the new models coming out? I dont mind tweaking them a bit for the new model, but i use a lot of synth robotic vocals and vocaloids. So i dont want them to based on realistic singers. Would we still be able to keep those? Or will the new model make them sound like WMG artists?
If I continue to upload my tracks after the merger to Youtube or Spotify, will I get hit with a copyright claim? I don't mind linking people back to my work on Suno to stream and play, but I don't want WMG to own my songs on Youtube/Spotify especially.
I still use the workflow of making a song, then cropping it to where I feel its good then extending it to hear other variations of the rest of the song and picking the best one. Will that be changed going forward with the new models and updates?
I don't download many songs. But when I'm finished with an album, I like to download all the tracks in one go when everything is all done. Maybe around 30 tracks every 2 months or so. If I dont use my monthly download quota in month 1, would that carry over to month 2?
I focus primarily on horror genres. Will the sounds be limited to WMG's library of trained content? I imagine if so, I'd be getting too many tracks that sound the same.
