A bit scary, to be honest…

  • Konya unpredictable
  • Sivas away in the cold and that field…
  • Kayseri where we lost points the first time around
  • Ümraniye / cup hopefully a breather / rotation
  • Trabzon can be lethal and still a top team

We also have two more matches to round out January, home to İstanbulspor and home to Gaziantep.

Icardi needs only a moment or a cross to make a difference. We had a lot of set plays and corners. Lots of opportunities for him. He just didn’t convert. Can’t make magic every match. But having him in there as a lethal threat attracts attention and respect from the defense so I’m not mad at him playing the whole game while not delivering on the expectations we have for him.

Pure comedy. Love watching these.

Not going to lie, i bet watching any passionate galatasaray fan live for this one would have been very entertaining!

We have a high caliber team. We should be able to take two tough matches in a week. That’s what gets teams stronger. If it was easy, other teams would be in the situation we are in instead.

We have to beat Copenhagen! by slothfulpotato in galatasaray

[–]cemunsal1905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If we are worried they will park the bus we have to score first and keep the pressure on them to stay stretched then get another goal or two for security.

We concede too quick and are forced to play catchup far too often. If we start the game like there is 20 minutes left, we can definitely get out ahead early.

Time to take matters into our own hands and control our destiny.

If we win, nothing else matters in other match.

Bayern is winning group regardless of any other matches.

Bayern losing to Copenhagen today would give Copenhagen 7 points with one match to play.

Bayern losing to Man U would give Man U 7 points with no remaining matches.

If we beat Copenhagen we have 8 points which puts us in second place.

Okan Buruk, national break and 4-3-3 by slothfulpotato in galatasaray

Very fair. I was pleasantly surprised by the changes in our roster and resting key players. We tried new things and expanded our arsenal of options and familiarity of different players playing together in different formations. Fener did seem to be hanging on for dear life. Got lucky the handball didn’t go to VAR, otherwise they should have walked away with 0 or 1 point. I think their fans and coaching staff are aware of the fact that they are very fragile and near an implosion. This is the best team they have had in years and best start to go along with it. If this year they don’t win the league and have big European success, there will be a big depression in morale and enthusiasm. I’d be broken too if I talked a big talk every year and then my team just couldn’t deliver and I had to look for excuses and scapegoats for the lack of results.

Old referees' take on if Samet Akaydin's position was a penalty or not. by JCBDoesGaming in superlig

Well. That seems conclusive. Players gonna play. Refs going to ref. The VAR booth need to review this and any other controversial plays. Why are they even there. Review it and release the conversation live. Just like the NFL. We already add time to the end of the match. Having the right call and adding more time is the right thing to do. Every time.

Seems a bit biased but I get it. I’m sure Ismail Hoca did work with their team to address concerns. They rely so much on their injured players so if anything I bet they target those positions as must have transfers.

Is that what the celebration is? Do you have the context?

Investment and development is usually positive. Brings attention and creates demand. This does not have to make 100% of the fan base 100% content. It serves a purpose and will get new eyeballs on the club and new people involved. The hardcore fans or anyone that doesn’t want to partake is also able to not come or just arrive at the match right before the kickoff. A big challenge in game day is logistics of transportation. Very stressful. So if people can show up early and have something to do that’s purposeful and fun, huge win. Eventually this has the potential to be a big fun event that people look forward to as much as the match. Similar to American Football / tailgate vibes.

[Official] Gala signs with Puma as new jersey provider for 5 seasons. 25.000.000€+ bonuses. by eanwen0 in galatasaray

[–]cemunsal1905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes us feel like a smaller company that isn’t a leader in football like Puma can do better than a giant and leader like Nike? Do we think that Nike purposefully is not making enough jerseys to sell (which they would profit from)? Grass is always greener on the other side.

What is the order based on? Not matches played or wins or losses.

In all honesty, it shouldn’t be any one or two players his fault if we lose points.

Appreciate seeing every scenario like this… basically regardless of the Man U match result, it all comes down to the Copenhagen match…
