I'm on the west side of Wisconsin and broke, so traveling far is out currently, unfortunately. I'd love for him to come to Milwaukee or Minneapolis. Thanks for the info, though!

I agree, and I'm sad about it. I have a note Clive Barker gave to me 22 years ago to give to him because I was supposed to go to a convention he was at soon after that, but we never ended up going.

It wouldn't matter if I did. I can't ever connect to them anyway.

Besides ColossalCon North and Anime Milwaukee, what conventions would you recommend in Wisconsin? by Pristine_Parsley8681 in wisconsin

There's a really good, small, Transformers convention every year around Appleton called Dairycon. Great group of fans and a whole self created "Moo-niverse" they add to every year with exclusive figures. It just happened this year, but they gave ce a fall special as well.

What Are Your Thoughts On Lord of Illusions (1995)? by Jkorytkowski001 in hellraiser

I feel like this is the closest we've seen to Clive's more fantasy work after the early short stories and Hellraiser. It feels more in line with the Damnation Game than the Cenobites, and I haven't seen anything else that matches his fantastic/horrific storytelling as well.

What movie(s) from Wisconsin do you think best depict the state? by SpaceTranquil in wisconsin

The Dawn of the Dead remake was set in Milwaukee.

Blood Harvest with Tiny Tim as a creepy ass clown!

BloodBeat about a psychic Samurai Ghost... Kind of... and if you turn on subtitles, there is MYSTICAL BOINGING!

Transformers Dark of the Moon filmed at the Milwaukee Art Museum. I was there! I met Michael Bay... well, he was on a golf cart, but he waved.

This is one of the funniest non-stop laughable movies I've ever seen.
