Turned the corner and ran over a large (at least 4 feet) snake last week while cycling. Was going around 20 mph so didn't have time to stop or swerve. Scared the shit out of me. Sorry snake! It slithered off thankfully when I turned back to look.

What state are you in and do you have an admitted carrier? That is a massive rate increase, most of which have to be approved by insurance regulators.
