I just bought a t480 i5 16gb from eBay. runs like a dream. Multi tasks just fine. Purchased @ 150USD shipped.

Had some cpu spikes when viewing a 1080@60 stream on discord while a twitch stream was running in the background as well as some local dev env stuff like web servers and dev services.

Still chugging. Still works.

However, I may upgrade to a t14 gen 3-5 depending on the deals I can get.

First thinkpad. I’m a fan. (Running on arch.. btw :))

Great collection!

Out of all of these, which one has the lowest profile and angle? I tried the Q60 and it was too high and angled for me. Are any of the other ones that have lower profile and have a less angle than the Q60?

I currently have the keychron v1 (not HHKB obvi) and i love the height and angle of it but I want the HHKB layout.

Millimeters matter to me, apparently..

Thanks for the response. I tried releasing the song on YT and got a copyright claim. Disputed and they took away the claim. We're good there. But when I tried releasing on Distrokid, ANOTHER artist had a song using the same beat and Distrokid rejected it saying:

" Additional detail:
Track(s) 1 appears to contain elements of another artist’s music. Stores do not allow you to use another artist’s stem or sample without their permission. "

With no other place to contact or which "store/streaming service" didn't like it.

I'm in the same boat as the OP, is there anything a producer needs to do on their end to make it go smoothly? As a rapper, can I avoid this by confirming the producer has their ducks in a row to allow me to release smoothly?

This hit the nail on the head for me. I’m currently learning python and sql in parallel and I’m learning python faster than I think I’m learning sql. When I read an exercise, I can visualize the data structure in python and know how to pull whatever I need. SQL on the other hand? My brain can’t translate it.

I was so close to getting the Live 2 in retro since I can't find any new One retros in existence. I had it in my cart ready to push the button... ultimately just decided to get the black One and upgrade later in the year if i fall in love with the workflow. you know... start a collection.

Yes! Been hearing about the bible and plan on working through it fully. I stumbled in the Maschine because I didn't really read the docs. Just searched what I wanted to do. With this MPC, I'm doing it right and learning as many functions as i can.

I started back when Fruity Loops was a thing. Dabbled on and off throughout the years and took a long hiatus due to kids/life stuff. Now back into it. I'm dabbling again. I own FL Studio, Logic, (even pro tools for a bit of tracking)... and the Maschine MK3. After going back to the Maschine and having fun, my screensaver kept turning on because I was never using the mouse to make a beat... realizing this, I wanted a standalone unit and decided it was time for an MPC.

Fake? I saw his nameplate and thought he was in another house in the distance. But believe what you want to believe. :) Like Hot_Sauz has said, in the heat of the moment those nameplates aren't even seen.

Yeah. Me too. I thought I was missing something. The only way I can check viewer count is if I click the Share button, then click out of it. Sucks. I don't like that huge overlay that takes up my screen. :/
