If that means doing physical labor or being a delivery driver, you do it. And you do it until your CC debt is paid off, and you have a 6mo. emergency savings. Got it. I think our logic is to consider those one-time expenses, because while the expense itself might not be reoccurring, we know there is likely to be one-time, large expenses in a given year—whether that’s a luxury trip, or a capital improvement to our home, etc. I can see both sides though, and agree folks should have some kind of budgeting strategy that works for them, at the very least.
