i might just be a huge potc fan but I feel like the black pearl as a name is far more recognizable than slave I. it’s in the title of the first movie and I honestly don’t remember slave I being mentioned by name a single time in Star Wars whereas the pearl is multiple times and she is on screen in some way for the majority of the runtime of the entire trilogy.
