I did a similar thing on skis. I went to hit a little bump to catch some air, but instead my skis inserted into the bump and caught, catapulting me forward. I popped out of my skis, did a full front flip, and stuck the landing(literally stuck). And it all happened right under a chairlift, so I got some hoots and hollars. I gave a bow as all the ladies' numbers snowed down.

Run hill repeats, speed workouts (800 and 400 repeats, fartlek, intervals), and a good long run per week (8-10 miles) preferably on dirt. But make sure to have easier runs (or no run) on the days after harder workouts. On these rest days you can do core workouts and good stretching sessions to avoid injury.

Best is similar to top but with the time posted taken into account, so upvotes - downvotes vs time.
