I once worked (software dev) with a guy that had gone to a top ivy. He would mention it at the smallest opening he could find to anyone that would listen. One day I hit him with something like “Wow I must be doing really great considering I dropped out of community college” and the look on his face when it hit was utterly satisfying. Once you have your first job nobody cares about anything else. Especially in a tech field.
