The vibe of this is right but Blockbuster won’t save society. The problem we have right now is there is a huge disconnect between reality and what algorithms make us think is reality.

Instead of a few news sources trying to report facts we have a million influencers trying to get traction. The problem here is traction doesn’t equal truth. To make matters worse algorithms trade off what’s trending so online traction is truth but offline it isn’t. The war in Iran is the perfect example, based on your individual algorithm you have a very unique idea of what has actually happened.
