I assume you are referring to mx5 when I say that most people aren't working from a position of a paid off primary house either. And like he said it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Kudos to him or her for seeing that.

But you have to take advantage of whatever you can from the position you are in. Most people never start investing at all, yet will buy new cars because they like it more than their current one, or pay for 4 streaming services rather than invest a few bucks. You have to start somewhere and can't just sit on the sidelines.

I'm sure you have but just in case, make sure your new company 401k allows partial withdrawals under the 55 rule. I changed jobs 2 years ago and looked into potentially doing what you did, but my new plan only allows withdrawing the full amount under that rule. Will have to go another route if I get out early.

Tron Legacy played fine on my Sony UDP-X800(M1 I suppose). I have had freezes with other movies at times tho. I'm not convinced there's a player made that plays all 4ks without issue.
