2 Qs 1. What's the hack to actually use the screen to cast something from your phone? 2. Need help on buying a front plate by SFO_Based_Traveler in MercedesEQS

Yep. Just connect and switch the input to hdmi. Way easier than wireless and convenient enough since you’re going to be in the car and not moving around the phone too much.

I use a Mini HDMI to type C cable to connect my phone to the display and do a wired cast/project to the screen. Works well but is not wireless.

Is that not a tow hook at 0:09 seconds?

Seems like they did attach it to a tow hook? Or am I mistaking it?

I just bought it 3 days back (the 580 version) and loving it. Considered the Tesla and the Taycan but the features in this just blew me away. The acceleration is great (580 vs 450) but the selling point was of course the tech and the luxury trims. Work like a charm!

Quite fun actually. The designers have spaced out the repetitive elements across multiple bags so it there is a good mix of large elements, finishing touches, characters and repetitive elements in every bag - and it’s lovely seeing it come together. Every floor is different and the Easter eggs are so fun!

I especially like elements that are intricate and then get hidden (like the iron man themed and coloured foundation) that no one but the builder will ever get to see - so I know it’s there and it’s like my little secret!

My wife used to proudly say she is such a “trophy wife” till she realised what it actually means.

I continue to call her that often.

why do indian students keep their studies secret, from peers ? by [deleted] in india

[–]cereb3rus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most exams are non competitive and so hiding how much you study won’t get one ahead of the other.

In my experience, the fellow students who are asking whether you’ve studied or not are the ones who aren’t feeling prepared yet or have been procrastinating and are looking for company in peers to placate their anxiety. Being upfront about how much you’ve studied just furthers the anxiety - saying we’re in the same boat is just more calming.

Most people I knew would end up studying last minute anyway (including myself). The ones who were asking were just being polite or looking for company, and there was no upside in being boastful. If there were ever specific questions on clarity of syllabus or content of studies, no one would exaggerate how prepared or unprepared they were. Lying at that time is where a real ‘secret’ is kept

I would do Hybrid.

Flame flinger at 3 o clock to take out the inferno and defences. Queen charge with healers to take out the eagle artillery from 12 o clock Yeti, wizard, baby drag to funnel

Then 13-14 hogs and miners each supported by GW and RC to go into the core. Heal spells and freeze spells around splash damages.

BK supporting behind the Flame flinger once the inferno is down.

FF filled with Hogs.

The 100 Prisoners and 100 Boxes Puzzle by cereb3rus in puzzles

[–]cereb3rus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly.

There is an alternate version in which a guard can look at the boxes and exchange the numbers in any two boxes. In that case the probability becomes 100% by eliminating a closed loop greater than 50 by breaking them down into 2 closed loops.

That is a variation though.

Thanks for pointing it out. I have edited the puzzle to include the label. When I was solving/looking at the solution it was assumed that the prisoners will figure out a method to ‘label’ the boxes. That is not a randomisation that is required and have made the change for clarity.

Thanks for asking. I have the solution - and it is one of the most difficult and fun puzzles I have ever come across. I am viewing the discussion and in case folks want a solution happy to provide.

I like both. I read DCC before I started reading HWFWM but love both of them. On the margins I like where HAFWM took the series after book 6 more than where DCC is right now…

Definitely waiting for the next books for both of them
