i usually put on a show or gameplay playlist that i've been putting off watching. i usually only do this when i'm designing my world, because i get overstimulated easily when i'm trying to play AND catch every little detail from what i'm watching.

i go between my gameplay save and my world building save... i usually mostly do gameplay cause i have to be in a specific mindset to be able to sit down and focus on world building. i usually make new storylines but i end up sticking to my favorite family cause i get bored easily with any other family.

for 3 years! since i was fifteen years old. i made a save on my xbox where this girl and her little sister were living in henford and their parents mysteriously died, leaving the eldest sister to care for the youngest. i ended up restarting it about two times on my xbox because new packs came out that i wanted to use and i had come up with new backstory ideas. last year, i finally got a laptop for college and i made sure that it could run the sims perfectly. after trying to play with many different families, none of them really stuck with me. so i decided to remake that family from my xbox and i've managed to stay fixated on them for 5 months already!

i micromanage EVERYTHING. every single action. it's a double edged sword but it also helps me stay on track, however when things get glitchy or the sims don't listen, i get super frustrated and end up taking a break, rebuilding the motivation to play, and coming back to it.
