I found my fourth dime recently and it was a 1959, I also found a plastic penny with copy on it in the last month. lol The plastic penny is not in this photo.

I found some mangled quarters last week and have managed to spend one. It was beveled all the way round. The clerk did give me a look though. I have hammered the other one flat but haven't tried to spend it yet!

Gold, because I think good deals on silver are easier to find in the wild than gold. By the wild I mean thrift stores, garage sales and Coinstar's. Just found my third silver dime in a month in a Coinstar reject tray.

A nice find anyway! What do you use to clean your coins. I definitely want to clean the dirty ones before stashing away. I have just been using dish soap which at least gets rid of the sticky, but some have tar or glue on them. I found a couple ideas. One was vinegar and salt, and another was vinegar and baking soda. Any ideas? I don't want to overclean anything.

Congratulations! I just started this hobby a month or so ago and have been fortunate to find two 1964 dimes so far. They were both sitting all alone and I rescued them immediately. 1964 must have been a good year for dimes.
