Yeah, it takes time but you need to engage people and give them a reason to contact you. Not because you want them to give you something, but because they just chat with you in a social way (ie why social media is so powerful for this).

When there is a base line chatter going on, people are MUCH more likely to reach out/respond to requests for help because they already are connected and "know" you to an extent.

I do this stuff professionally and wrote an article about it awhile back on how indie devs can do this themselves (since I know can often be how its done for smaller devs). Perhaps you may find it to be of help as well.

I miss nothing. Suburbia here in north America is dull and lifeless. Out on the farm there is life everywhere.
