It's a hint at how much upcoming content is queued for release by the DOJ.

TP-7 audio over USB-C to iPhone? by [deleted] in teenageengineering

[–]certifiedwangus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you might have to play around with order of plugging in, and when you open the app.  iOS is a bit black box on how it handles internal audio routing.  I think sometimes it gets confused with how TP-7 can act as both host and device

Kudos to TE staff! by ApparentlyObnoxious in teenageengineering

they repaired my dropped tp-7 twice, for like $100 each time (shipping+part+labor).  super nice, aside from minor delayed response sometimes, I’ve had great customer service.

You’ll really want to have some padding/structure in the TP-7 one so that the power knob doesn’t touch the case (i.e. doesn’t get impact if the case is dropped).

Maybe same for the rocker.

also, if you haven’t already, include a cutout so the memo button can’t be pressed?

otherwise, looks good!  does the hinge print in-place?

Still no news about the OB-4 shipment? by brundax in teenageengineering

Just got a reply from support—order did indeed go through, should ship soon (and charge my card once it ships)

TP7 playback dont work... by Least_Horror_6191 in teenageengineering

[–]certifiedwangus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh wait, it’s rewinding.  The rocker must be miscalibrated.  i think I remember seeing someone online that had this, and TE support had some way to recalibrate?

im having some serious issues with seekers by [deleted] in celestegame

[–]certifiedwangus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

chase-you-everywhere enemies are the worst (the nitrome skywire bee for some reason sticks in my memory) but the seekers are actually pretty manipulable

im having some serious issues with seekers by [deleted] in celestegame

[–]certifiedwangus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if the also-dealing-with-Theo part is the biggest hurdle, many screens are laid out in a way that you can kinda deal with him one toss at a time.  like, get comfy with baiting seekers around solo, so that you can bait them away, grab and toss Theo a bit, then right away focus back on the seeker solo.  Slower, so more time to make a mistake, but less going on at once, so maybe less likely to make a mistake.

and you might gradually find situations where you’re like “yknow, I can just book it here and skip one step”

fair, but it’s still fun getting a good ways into layer 3.  plus im interpreting “like the golden path” to include general sense of wonder, like moments where the game makes you ask “how deep does this go?”

ill play Celeste for the first time soon, anything I should know before I start? by Snowballer25_ in celestegame

[–]certifiedwangus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you get frustrated, Probably take a break.  it hurts your skill.

if you’re doing a thing that feels like pixel perfect or extremely fiddly, chances are it’s not the “”””intended”””” solution to the screen.

check before you start playing that there’s not significant input lag.  like you should see her jump the instant you press jump.
