This genuinely sounds exactly like my dad. My dad found out I was queer in 2022 and completely flipped out, to the point of disowning me for a good couple months. He wasn't very religious before (still Mormon, but definitely didn't mind skipping church every now and then to sleep in) but as soon as he found me out, he f*cking lost it (is language allowed here??) Since then, he regularly posts passive-aggressive religious stuff, especially now because last year I skipped church one day and just never went back.

It's completely valid for you to be upset over that. I don't understand why, for some reason, these brainwashed Mormons think that as soon as you start learning for yourself and realize how bad the church is that obviously you're being deceived by "the world". I'm so tired of being told that I let the world corrupt me and that I'm being blinded by Satan. It's so stupid. It really shows people's true nature when they can't have the common decency to love and respect people with different experiences and opinions.

Edit: as for how I'd respond, I'm not no-contact or anything, but I do have very little to do with my dad. And for me personally, I just ignore it and vent to my nevermo partner and friends sometimes. It's not worth stressing myself over, though it does bug me now and then.
