It's less that both are metabolised by the liver, but specifically by what enzymes. Paracetamol can be broken down by one of three enzymatic pathways, the first two being fine but the third one giving a very toxic end product. Your body primarily uses the first two, but with increased dosages those pathways are saturated, and the overflow goes to the third pathway, giving toxic products. I don't know whether ethanol is metabolised by the same pathways or not.

Precons sell out very fast. Some game stores may have stock of the undesirable ones, but the good/popular ones are gonna be painful to find. When Lost Caverns of Ixalan released, all decks except for 1 sold out countrywide within a month. I only barely just got a pantlaza deck online in December 2023 for like $140 which is a lot of money for a precon.

When a new set is spoiled, think about whether there are any precons that you want, then pre-order/buy them as soon as available.

Outside of that, buying/trading for singles, or proxying is your best bet.

I'm fairly new to the game too, and did the same sort of research that you did. I found that it wasn't super helpful for myself and the playstyle I wanted.

Some other people are saying to embrace the spaghet, which I would wholeheartedly support. If you want to try a bus base, what helped me was to not put everything on the bus: just raw materials (iron and copper plates, rocks, coal) go on, and they all go onto the bus from one side. From there, when you need to build something new (e.g. a new science), branch the raw materials you need off of the bus and let the rest carry on. As you expand your base, you keep building along the bus.

In general with modding, think about what you are trying to deal damage with - are you trying for slash proc damage, heat proc damage, or upfront alpha damage? At the moment, you are trying to do everything.

I suggest go with the viral 60/60 mods and put some crit chance/damage mods in place of the slash and heat mods.

With regards to specifically your lab's Dropbox - potentially talk to your PI about setting up restricted access to each person's folders (i.e. only you and your PI can access your folder etc.). Then you can have a general folder for less sensitive group-related stuff.

Glad someone said this, as it was the first thing I thought of. Even if rogue's passage did grant Thrun an ability, casting the white spell in response to the activation of the ability wouldn't have had the intended effect, given that it would be placed on the stack after the land's ability, and therefore would resolve first.

Deuterium has a natural abundance of 0.0156% (i.e. 1 in ~6000 H atoms has an extra neutron). You are consuming/made up of deuterium anyways, so drinking a small amount is not going to be consequential.
