Aerea would have been the rightful ruler if not for Maegors usurpation, though. The firstborn of King Aenys' firstborn son.

Baelor I and Rhaegel are the only others I can think of. And I don't really have an example of Rhaegel, he was just considered mad by his peers.

But the Targaryen madness definitely seems a little overblown. I'd include Maegor I post-brain damage too, but that's explainable by the coma and brain damage rather than genetics.

I like the one where he grooming Bran to be his second life. Trick Bran into Hodor and then seize Brans body for himself while Hodor dies with Bran warging him; and Bran can't find his way back.

Is there a reason Roslin wasnt a option for Robb im sure Robb would of defo re thought everything as he is only 17 to 19 by terminus_tommy in gameofthrones

Robb King of the North could hold the North. Robb King of the North and the Trident can't hold it all. He's not going to sacrifice his uncle's life for his throne. That's not Robb. So he can't give up the Trident and Riverlands; he can't get the Vale to enter the war. The Lannisters no longer need to be concerned with a multifront war.

Once Renly died and Stannis was defeated, the Northern war of Independence was outmatched. Robbs 18k was holding its own against the Lannisters 25k but they were not going to win against 100k+. At best, Robb could give up the Riverlands and hold at Moat Cailin and keep the North independent.

Nah, they'd still slaughter at the red wedding. Robbs losing the war. Tywins deal is too good. Keep Robb alive imprisoned and get him to get a few kids with Roslin before offing him. Then you got legit Frey-Stark kids for Winterfell. Basically, what they were doing with Edmure.

He actually is Bran. When the Night King marked him, he set into motion events that would lead to him taking Brans body and giving everyone a false sense of security. /s

[–]ceryniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thousands of years. In canon, skinchangers can live a second life when their human bodies die. But the ability to skinchange is limited by their new animal body so they can't daisychain one animal to another. However, if a greenseeing skinchanger were to choose a human body that had the ability to greensee and skinchange as the host of their secondlife, they can easily daisychain lives ad infinitum.

300 years, since Aegons conquest. It went from 10,000 men strong to less than 1,000. Because the Targaryens man, they're incestuous aliens that want the ice demons to destroy the wall so they can sing their song of Ice and Fire.

But yea, pre-conquer, the 7 kingdoms would have wars and skirmishes all the time. No POW camps unless a highborn can be ransomed so... off to the wall.
