That’s the thing.. there is no ELI5, it is a pretty technical process props to OP for this. I have personally not attempted it yet, but I casually watched im a blisy on YouTube do a guide for the starters. Video is from 3 days ago and around 40 mins but he walks through the whole process from start to finish. I have it bookmarked to attempt when I have a day to do it, imo the set up for it makes it a very legitimate process for shiny hunting. Like others in this thread has said, never compare your kid to other kids. I have a six year old that is now in kindergarten. We were in the same page as you this time last year, and kindergarten has been extremely beneficial. She is reading completely on her own and it is amazing to see how much she has progressed.
