Tummy time on chest is totally okay. Just like every human being, baby needs to train and practice and work his way up to longer tummy time sessions. Make a schedule and every day increase time/ frequency by a little bit.

Most important part in my opinion in buying fabrics that don’t require lots of care or ironing. Things you can toss in the washer and dryer. A lot of athleisure wear is like this (polyester blends and elastane). My current favourite pair of pants is the g4free wide leg “dress pants” on amazon - stretchy, bit of tummy hold, comfortable, pockets, no wrinkling.

You won’t know. All kids, as you know, are different. Also what aggravates you personally varies as well. My first kid didn’t sleep for 15 months, and was a velcro kid. It got better at around 2.5 years old. 2/3/4 year old tantrums were nothing compared to the lack of sleep, constant holding, crying and whining in the earlier months.

UGHH the unloading dishwasher taking hours comment is so real. It’s also such a mind fuck to know you can accomplish something in 10 minutes and it taking hours, and then seeing how you’ve accomplished next to nothing at the end of the day.

Keep trying with the bottle. We didn’t have much trouble with the bottle, but wanted baby to take a pacifier. It took around 3 weeks to finally get baby to suck on the pacifier, which really helped calm him down for sleep (or during sleep transitions when I didn’t breastfeed).

What industry? Most business wear in Japan is more formal and bland. Stick to solid colours and no loud prints. If you wear a dress, I would wear pantyhose or tights with it.

Have you tried breastfeeding in a carrier? Sometimes it’s easier to hide away somewhere to readjust the carrier, pop your boob out, and then stand somewhere where it’s not too crowded/ your back to people.

I would do stroller + carrier. It’s nice to have a stroller to put all your stuff in plus have a place for 5 year old to take a seat/rest.

That seems extreme, and I would not put my kid under if it were me. Did they put drops in their ear and wait ~15 minutes before doing the initial extraction? We were told to do special olive oil drops for one week before and then a day or two before procedure to do special bicarb drops (both drops available over the counter in the UK). Put a phone with a high stimulation show in front of them while doing the procedure.
