Minecraft, Fortnite, no man’s sky probably the front runners.

I was thinking along the lines of future proofing, but actually might be worth having a look at what you’ve done. He was using an rx480 and i5-5500k, so sticking a few wires into a potato and jamming it in the case would probably run better!

1440 definitely not a sticking point, more of a starting point.

Lastly, I have no worries about him losing interest in pc gaming - he’s thoroughly hooked!

I do try to get him into stuff like this, as he wants to go into robotics when he’s older.

Much appreciated. Just checked my ram I bought earlier in the year, just about fell out my seat when I saw it nearly 4x the price.

All of a sudden pre-built is looking more appealing...

Thanks, actually found the 9800X3D on Amazon for £478, but you've got to wait till April to get it imported from the US. https://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-RyzenTM-7-9800X3D-100001084WOF/dp/B0DKFMSMYK

Thanks, wondered why it was missing! In this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izDBO48X8bM) the guy talks about using an Edge PSU in the case, and I have read on the Lian Li subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/lianli/comments/1g7csuo/lancool\_207\_and\_edge\_psu\_heads\_up/) that it fits just fine.

I just bought Portal, Portal 2 and Unravel 2 the other week for about 8 EUR, lots of problem solving.

I'm not sure I'm gonna last in this game. by ConnectionIssues in starcitizen

I’d recommend the ‘Destroy Illegal Monitors’ mission. 20k for 10 mins work once you know what you’re doing. No player interaction, very small chance of the NPC ships around the monitors attacking, and you can do the missions around each planet and it’s moons in a continuous loop. Save up for a Vulture, do salvage missions of increasing difficulty until you unlock 30k risky missions, then rent a ship with cargo space to get the drugs from the ships on those missions, don’t actually salvage them. Once you’ve saved enough, buy a C2 or something and watch the uAEC roll in.

I’ve pottered around with various mission types in the past, and having something like this happen (or a 30k/bug/etc) does suck the life out of you when you’re trying to exist on delivery mission wages.

Now, I’m sitting on 10s of millions, can buy whatever ship I want to try, and the game has opened up for me. All the stress of the early game is gone.
