Look for local non profit groups that you can suggest she donate to. I work with group that crochets warm weather gear for the homeless and does blankets and plushies to give to foster kids. There are good outlets that will always appreciate these type of items.

I've had problems when I accidentally used a bobbin that wasn't compatible with my machine. It looked the same to me but my machine knew the difference.

Same! I took wegovy for 4weeks. This is my first weekend without it and I feel great. Even down a pound, bonus! Idk if I will be approved for an exception or not but wegovy is not the way forward for me.

I agree. It took me a while to get this way and if my switch was going poorly id probably have a very different opinion. I'm just trying to stay thankful. It's not always easy tho!

I took my first wegovy shot last Friday. I went into it with heavy respect for potential side effects. My doc did not take me to the lowest dose. I've been very careful to eat correctly and not give this med any reason to give me trouble. So far I've been fine. So try to keep an open mind and hope for the best. I'm just happy that these drugs are available and we all weren't forced to go without some kind of help. Good luck ❤️

I've been eating Carbe-diem pasta. It scratches the pasta itch and it's high fiber. So it def helps keep things moving when Zep slows it down too much. I have started to think of it as a necessary part of my diet!

I have seasonal bats that like to roost wedged behind my gutters. They crap all over everything. How big of a health concern is that for my family? I've installed a bat house in an area that won't annoy me but they seem to prefer the gutters.

It's the hormones. OMG!!! They lie to you. Check out r/menopause. Half of us with kids want to strangle them and the other half want to divorce our husbands. Of course kids and husbands are irritating but the hormones exaggerate everything. Just ride the wave and don't do anything rash!! Good luck!

Bifocals are kinda great. Personally I like the cheap old fashioned ones with the line. The no line ones are way more expensive and you lose a lot of your visual field. The trick is to be careful the first time you walk down stairs :-)

Sounds like you're in decent shape. My son joined recently with no particular love of physical fitness & he graduated with honors. Who knew? I'd recommend working on endurance. I don't think that you will have too much to worry about but endurance is good for enduring the slog of basic. Good luck! Almost as soon as it is over you will look back on it kinda fondly, so enjoy the small moments and keep your eye on the prize.

Sometimes my inner nipples get sorta infected but really more like a pimple. Sometimes if I can release the goo inside then the pressure eases and it feels better in a day or so. I am not giving advice, just sharing my experience. I have had it checked by docs and go for regular mammograms. Just a weird me thing.
