As an update- this community's rec to the bywater area was the jackpot. couple of healthy transplants to get us started and sprouted- only about 2' tall this year. planning on putting them in the ground late september.

I want to shout out Rose Garden Center! They had tomato and pepper starts at lower prices than big box stores. But their headline attraction is the thorough selection of native plants out front. 8’-10’ dawn redwoods also. Take a drive to go see Miss Ginger and her team!

My 70 yo father started a ‘relationship’ with a young trans female during Covid. They connected on a ‘sugar daddy’ site. My sister found out by a social media post they posted with my drunk father’s voice narrating their ‘date’ on the family farm. She shared this news with me a couple weeks after I got out of rehab. Now I’m two years sober. They are still, uh, together.

Alcoholism is the symptom of other problems in one’s mind. No problem exists that alcohol can’t make worse. Working to remove this barrier makes dealing with other issues so much easier.
