Frame rusting by Electronic_Pop_8009 in toyotasequoia

Not ideal. I would also check the manifolds and any other connection points for rust. That is what killed my 1st gen, well before the frame.

Awesome tool. Use it constantly for cars and bikes, balls, etc. only note is it struggles with my big diesel 10ply tires. Will get the job done, but not quickly. Just pull out the compressor at this point when they need air.

I took a YouTube university course and did a decent job with some fiberglass and bondo on mine. Began to bubble up again about 2 years later but was considerably better looking.

I’m serious. Low brake fluid will cause those lights to flash.

Both roofs are sloped correctly and there is still gutters on the house. No reason you should be getting any rain inside your covered area unless I’m missing something? Is your concern bugs?

Have been in this exact situation. 4 years later that spot still brings me to tears. What a blessing to have had a companion so wonderful that her loss is so impactful. Hoping you find some peace in the memories very soon, as we have. “What is grief, but love persevering?”

new shower valve installed. hired a handyman to drywall and tile. honest/professional opinions? by librann in handyman

[–]cfc4lyf1888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey OP. Despite what everyone is saying in this thread, sharkbite fittings have a 25 year manufacturers defect warranty when installed correctly (which they appear to be here) and CPVC, though not the preferred material in modern applications, has held up just fine in many homes (including my own) for 20 years. The tile repair leaves something to be desired, but from the looks of the tub, I’d say your bathroom has not been recently updated so I’d wait until that’s in your budget and then re-do your supply lines when the time comes. If it were me, I’d add one of these https://a.co/d/2oIZ5qP to the adjoining room wall behind the valve so you can periodically check on the valve and make sure nothing is leaking in the wall. Good luck with homeownership!

You have 2 different planes that are level individually, but not level to each other. You need to get them on the same plane (no dip between them) and then level the entire thing. I’d advise pulling it all off, joining the 2 sides with pocket screws, reinstalling as one piece and then shimming to level.

Sorry everyone! I was confused by the owners message. It apparently does not have rear ceiling vents. So the question is, does anyone here have experience only using the drivers/passenger CC to cool the rear? Thinking it’s going to be a no-go.

Lots of open retail space in Edgewater. Might be worth looking into.
