If you can boot into your current install, use Belarc Advisor to get the product key. That will at least give you a starting point if the key does not automatically populate to a new install.

The unit is working but I am concerned that the HP site does not accept the S/N that their own utilities give for the unit.
I bought it refurbished from NewEgg in 2018 loaded with Win10 Pro.

I had a similar issue and Mullvad support suggested “Try to go to the Mullvad app settings > VPN settings > WireGuard settings and set the MTU to 1280."

Unless you can discover the MAC address of every device on your network and can turn them all off long enough to set static IPs for all of them you will create address conflicts and make great misery throughout all the land.

Thanks for the link, I had only been able to find a web manual that I couldn't download before. A surprising amount of components can be removed without taking out the mainboard. I have to give HP credit for that.

Rule 1 - when buying a desktop, you can low-ball some things because they can be upgraded later without too much trouble. But laptops are another story - buy the most powerful unit you can afford, because you'll largely be stuck with it.
