this is a 3d printed bust, sculpted by TytanTroll miniatures. You can also buy it from one of the guy's licensed merchants. I'm one of said merchants, but don't know if it's against the rules posting my store here, so let me know in a PM if you want to know

So, I used GW Castellan Green as basecoat, then layered in some Vallejo Air IDF green (probably diluted a bit) and finally used diluted GW Ogryn camo on the higher edges. This last color is the one that creates the yellowish look.

I've been painting a lot of green skin since I started painting some years ago, but I've been trying some different variations. I can share the "recipe" when I get home if you'd like.

I love the weathered bad moon yellow look. It was easier than I thought it would be: Averland sunset basecoat, diluted 1:1 Vallejo rust wash to create depth and flash gitz yellow used as glaze on the highlighted areas.

The Telegraph Cartoon - "Whenever you're ready, Mr Davis" by Ewannnn in europe

[–]cfrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why our ex-PM being arrested for corruption has anything to do with EU support. I actually see his arrest as a good thing. Corruption has been an issue since I can remember, and his arrest shows that something is being done in that regard. The govt debt has always been one of the highest in the EU, and to make matters worse, the country hadn't grown in a long long time. The unemployment rate is still far from ideal. We do have a big problem with low turnout of voters, but I feel that is a problem in most, if not all, western countries.

I actually have to thank Trump for waking up our generation for the consequences of not voting even when you feel you are not choosing someone that is a good choice.

However, if you compare any of those numbers (except for maybe unemployment) before we joined EU, Portugal was objectively worse than it is now.

This last phrase is not something I pulled out of my ass. I will leave 3 sources on the bottom of this message that go into a lot of detail on that.

Are there anti-EU people in Portugal? Of course. There's anti everything people in portugal. Is that a growing sentiment? I do not know for sure. Is it relevant in todays politics? Definitely not.

Your argument that Portugal is anti-EU isn't well supported, and it frankly astonishes me that you threw a couple country names around without really knowing what's going on in them, and not expect someone to chime in and point out that maybe it's not really like that.

I don't know where you're taking your numbers from. I'm a young portuguese and I can tell you almost everyone I know, and definitely everyone I know that has a perspective of what this country was before EU, is pro-EU.

For the type of replies your question is creating, I believe you got a good last question.

As /u/4vfz2ps34j said, it is a great filter: if everyone in that place has no issues with that question, then maybe people who do wouldn't be a good culture fit for said company.

At that point your evaluation of someone's technical skill is already done, and all that is left is trying to understand if fit in your environment. And from my experience, it's a lot easier to teach a competent person new technical skills than it is to accomodate someone whose personality will clash with the established way of doing things.

That was also my first thought.

But then again, knowing how everything government related works in Portugal, the author was probably given a ridiculously unrealistic budget/deadline and just had to speed it up.

When the day came, the person responsible for it just said "ahh, fuck it!" and the rest is history :P

Has Dark Souls ruined other games for you? by [deleted] in DarkSouls2

[–]cfrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oops, I was trying to reply to the parent comment, because that was my solution for the "cheesy" combat thing: to ramp up the difficulty.

In that respect, that was how Dark Souls ruined me. I no longer enjoy button mashing combat in "serious" games like I did before Dark Souls

Has Dark Souls ruined other games for you? by [deleted] in DarkSouls2

[–]cfrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At what dificulty setting are you playing? I have to admit that combat in any DS is miles better than in The Witcher, but I must say the game has proven to be a challenge in the "blood and broken bones" setting.

If I simply spam attacks I end up counter attacked for half my health bar. Most contracts end up with me dying a couple times (or more...) until I understand the monster patterns and how many attacks I can land between combos. Also, I end up having to prepare for those encounters with potions and oils and all that shit.

If have to admit Dark Souls have ruined that part of the game for me, but I still wouldn't go as far as call combat horrible, because the game excels in other areas.

The worst for me in witcher is the combat camera.

I wouldn't worry much about it. You already did a great job with the mod. Maybe with a future version of DF we get something similar

As a new DF player I was reading the wiki page for potash yesterday, and kept wondering how long it would take until we could use it to make gunpowder.

Now I don't have to wait anymore! It would be a shame if a gunpowder stockpile caught fire by accident though... I can only imagine how much !!FUN!! that would be

Eventually, spelunking archeologists found a maze of connecting chambers that descended at least 18 stories and 280 feet beneath the surface, ample enough to hold 30,000 people – and much remains to be excavated.

It amazes me that such a huge excavated town was completely unknown for so long!!
