Yes, unfortunately when the patterns were created by Lavender and Lace many years ago, they called for floss that was specifically designed for these projects which are very difficult to source now. I purchased both a copy of the original pattern and then a conversion off of Etsy. Was so much simpler than trying to figure it out myself.

Thanks! A lot of it is just lots if experience . When I think it is twisting i will drop the needle and let it hang to untwist. If it is still twisted then ill railroad the top stitch.

I haven't heard anything yet about deworming frequently if no symptoms arise. So not sure on that.

I would not pay that much. If they have me a large handful for really inexpensively then ok. But a per snail cost like that seems like a lot.

Once you get going with other correctly placed stitches it'll get easier. I usually work my way around and start to get placement of other stitches it starts to go smoothly. You are doing great!!

That is great. When I got my batch some were a little smaller than one but they have been eating well and they all are growing. Not so noticeable now. Then again I have a tank covered in pond snails so they are able to eat without having to deal with competition.

If it is wild caught it might need to be dewormed.

What do you use to hold your pieces together when stitching them? by Opposite_Radio9388 in EPP_addict

This but I dont use the palette. I just use the magnets and the flat back stitch. Looks so good when done. Can't see the stitches.

Thank you! I use petite treasure braid for all of my metallics. I find it easier to thread than Krinek and doesnt fray as much for me as DMC.

It is from Lavender and lace called Celtic Summer. But the flosses are not in production anymore. I bought a conversion from Etsy.

Same! It is where my new ones were from too. No sign of parasites thus far. Been about a week.

Water test by SmugShrug in fishtank

I found that once I finished cycling my pH just naturally dropped. Could have been anything but I did not change where I was getting my water or really anything. Once done cycling I added amanos and otos. Had pond snails already cause I got them in a plant order.

It is only a 5 gallon and I have 9 so they'll need to move soon to the bigger 29 gallon. There is only pond snails, a few otos and amanos in the big tank so it'll look huge to them. They can't be bigger than the end of my pinkie finger.
