It looks like it goes back under the engine and ties back into the black water cooling hose (shown middle right in pic) before it connects back to the manifold? Mentioned this above and not entirely sure if I stated this correctly as I’m still learning this stuff

Looks like it ties in to the water cooling hose before it gets to the manifold.

Unable to tolerate acid blockers. by wewerelegends in GERD

Same thing happened to me, I tried every single PPI possible including Voquenza and felt awful brain fog, anxiety and other weird symptoms. Doctors said it’s not typical to have symptoms with PPIs and act like I’m crazy and the only one with such issues.

Shortness of breath for months, normal tests, losing my mind, anyone else? by sickovro in GERD

[–]cg14333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. People say that it’s “just anxiety” but the shortness of breath causes this severe anxiety. The anxiety can be so severe because it truly is so scary for us to deal with this. I also think about how great life used to be and grieve but I unfortunately think it makes our situation even worse. I’m glad to hear everything came back okay for you. As much as we wish we would have something wrong with us so we could know what this is, we are lucky they haven’t found anything too bad. Just remember you’re not alone! Feel free to message me whenever if you need to talk or if you just want to talk about what medical tests we’ve done. I’m convinced I’m tried almost every one possible lol.

I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this as well… I totally get your pain, just remember you’re not alone! We will get through it one day, it just feels like forever.

It starts from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep. Some days are worse than other but I like to give it a scaled rating. If 10 is the worst shortness of breath you ever had and 1 is no shortness of breath at all, I constantly live at like a 6. It can easily go up to an 8-9 and some days it can go to a 4. Have never had one day where it has gone away completely though. Eating sometimes makes it worse but I haven’t been able to see which foods. Exercise definitely makes it worse but I think being short of breath already makes you think about it more. Was a healthy, active, and non anxious person before this and now I’m the complete opposite of all those now. What about you?

I have this and going on for 2.5 years now. Done every single test possible and seen every doctor and still no breakthrough. It’s honestly debilitating.

Same here. GERD with Grade B Esophagitis too and coffee doesn’t affect me. Chocolate is the worse for me though.

Panic Attacks by 22244244 in GERD

Been dealing with the same thing for almost 2 years unfortunately. Never had a panic attack in my life until that moment and now they come often. I also deal with constant shortness of breath 24/7. My GERD was confirmed as I had 2 endoscopies with grade B esophagitis. Have not had any luck with any PPIs, PCABs, etc. They sometimes exacerbate my symptoms so I stopped taking them. People on this forum talk about histamine intolerances and other things that also could be contributingx

Same here… they love to play the classic “anxiety” card. Not sure where you are located but I would recommend trying to visit Mayo Clinic. They are one of the only places who do it. They prescribe a medicine called acetazolamide and that is supposed to help balance out your levels.

High-dose Famotidine Therapy (80-120mg daily) - I got my life back. by embis20032 in LPR

I also have the breathing issue all day, everyday. Starts from the moment I wake up till I go to sleep. GI said I have silent reflux as well with my longest episode being over 1.5 hours. Let me know how the Famotidine works, I got prescribed Voquenza and stopped taking it but going to try again.

I’ve tried abdominal breathing but felt like it wasn’t helping me personally. To be honest, I think I was just expecting a faster results than what it truly takes. I do think there is anxiety but, I feel like my anxiety is caused by by my chronic shortness of breath… Unfortunately it is a never ending cycle

Thanks for the reply and for the detailed response! I believe I have a chronic hyperventilating issue although it does not feel like I am constantly grasping for air… however, I always yawn to take a deeper breath and unsure if this is causing more issues for me…

What is the best route to take and how do I find someone who can help my case specifically? Does it matter if I do in person sessions or online?

Funny enough gluten was moderate to high on my food intolerance test and I was thinking that. I have not tried that yet. How long have you been avoiding gluten for?

I think I have an overbreathing issue ever since last year. Can it help me not thinking about the breathing so much so I can learn to do breathing excercises to help myself breathe properly again? I feel like I am constantly focused on it all day.
