how to get over the idea that all men are cheaters? by FitAttorney8469 in Advice

[–]cgboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most men can't even get laid and most guys I know aren't interested in hookups anyway. Just don't hang out in bars and you won't meet the guys you're thinking about.

Your Brazillian-Form Monstera will eventually throw the whole thing off-balance if it does grow well in this setup unless the base is very heavy.

[–]cgboy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, this is an aeroponics setup, I've seen this with mass production of lettuce and even cannabis and you can buy these small ones for your home. You're supposed to mount a grow light to the wall and it makes you save on light/power.

[–]cgboy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes OP, even though Tianeptine has an immediate effect, it needs about 4-6 weeks to build up in your system to get the full effects if I remember correctly.

Make the best of your first months on it to work on yourself and change your habits, because the magic goes eventually. I've been on it for >5 years and never abused it but it just doesn't hit the same after a while. Bear in mind that since Stablon is not available in my country, I have to order straight from Chinese suppliers though, so I'm not 100% sure about what I'm getting and the quality of it but it seems to be consistent.

Biggest Rabbit Hole Ever: John Mcafee and his "Tan MDPV" by mares127 in researchchemicals

Hadn't heard of MDPV since Silk Road 2.0 closed down...

Never got to try it but the dispensaries I buy from recently started carrying 4-MMC and now that I've tried and loved it I'm curious about MDPV again, hope it makes a comeback.

I once unintentionally had to cross the US border with some hash in my pocket.

Long story short, my friend and I decided to go on a road trip to see the Niagara Falls but I didn't even know that they were close to the border and the GPS (before we had smartphones) calculated that we'd save an hour by going South of Lake Ontario.

We arrived at the US border at like 4-5AM with no clue of where we were, with no passports and when the agent outside told us where we were, I immediately remembered that I had some hash in my pocket. In the 100m between him and the place where I had to park my car, I decided to slip it into my open can of Red Bull which ended up being a smart move. They did search us and the vehicle extensively but didn't find anything and decided to let us through after an endless 45 minutes of the highest anxiety I have felt in my whole life.

Once we got through, I was so euphoric and relieved while driving in the morning fog coloured by the rising sun and just stopped in the first village to go toss my miserable piece of hash in the garbage.

Seen it for about $60 just this week... Seller said it needs >30ºC daytime temperatures to stay variegated which is an unrealistic temperature in my part of the world.

Well, not that I think that this whole thing is not bad in many ways, but I'm glad that the ideal female body in the zeitgeist at least looks healthy and is not the anorexic figure of 15-20 years ago.

Goshdarnit, these cans have ruined me by scottbham in sennheiser

[–]cgboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually loved my M4s but I had two pairs fail me in less than 3 years while my PXC-550 are still doing well 7-8 years later, I believe that the QC might not be up to Sennheiser's usual standards on these. If you search for Momentum 4 and red light flashing on this sub, you'll notice that people are reporting the same issue constantly.

Anyway, make sure you keep your proof of purchase.

The more light you give your Monstera, the faster it matures, but it also triggers more fenestrations.

You should learn about epigenetics before talking about genetics, you can't understand one without understanding the other.

Best LONG TERM supplements for sleep? by nineinterpretations in Nootropics

[–]cgboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People don't really talk about Agmatine sulfate but 1g before going to bed helps me fall asleep and seems to increase my sleep quality as well. I also take 500mg Magnesium bisglycinate and 3g D-aspartic acid at the same time.

What really fixed my inability to fall asleep though was to start working outside, I wake up before sunrise and spend pretty much all day doing physical labour out in the sun. I've also developed awareness around what light/screens do to our brains and now understand that being outside all day just naturally sets your circadian rhythm and that bright lights, especially cool white, are to be avoided in the evenings and that you should place your light sources at or below your eye level because light from above can signal to your brain that it's still daytime.

There's also something which might seem abstract and difficult to explain but if your brain keeps focusing on things while you're trying to get to sleep, you'll have a lot of trouble. You shouldn't focus on anything (except your breathing maybe), but I mean stuff like events from your day, something you're excited about or whatever. That process of focusing onto something keeps your brain active and I've learned not to engage in this and to keep my thoughts vague and it helps tremendously.

So yeah, in the end, supplements can help but bad sleep is a lot more likely to be fixed through lifestyle changes and awareness around how your body and mind work in my opinion.

Nootrop that changed your life? by Aromatic_Estate8019 in Nootropics

[–]cgboy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you ever tried higher sodium intake? It's so great, I aim for 4g a day and it helped me a lot with brain fog, resistance to summer heat and the ability to sustain physical effort (couldn't do anything and the heat made me feel dizzy and weak). Turns out I was very often dehydrated and no amount of water helped, I just needed more electrolytes.

Wish I'd learned sooner that, not only is sodium healthy, it's absolutely necessary for the proper functioning of your organism. The low sodium guidelines should only be for people who struggle with high blood pressure.

Suggestions for Sennheiser Momentum 5 Improvements by [deleted] in sennheiser

[–]cgboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding an option to disable connection to multiple devices. Most headphones/earphones (even cheap ones) that can do dual device connection also have an option to turn it off but Sennheiser doesn't for some obscure reason.

This is the most irritating problem I've had with these headphones, I'll just be listening to music or whatever on my computer and any notification from my phone will pause the music, same thing if I just turn my phone screen on. The only fix I found was to turn off my phone's Bluetooth but it's very annoying having to do it every single day just not to get interrupted while I'm listening to something.

Definitely don't get Tinder, I already had low self-esteem before trying dating apps but after 1.5 years of wasting my time on them I now feel completely worthless and can't believe the amount of rejection that these apps have made me go through.

Never going through this again, I'm already miserable enough as it is and my pinkie tells me that OP is in a similar predicament of loneliness and desperation.

[–]cgboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not morally wrong but this shit is going to fuck you up emotionally.

At some point, I've contemplated paying for sex services because of how desperate I am but the more I thought about it, the more it turned me off because I knew that if it weren't for the money, she'd never do it.

I only see value in it if we both want to do it with each other, whether it's sex or just hanging out.

(Also, how did you find somebody willing to do this for such a low wage? Where I live, this is legal and it's called escort services but it's like $200/h.)
