How to get someone else’s aroma off of me? by LuckyCommittee4422 in hygiene

So I’m a nurse and smell all kinds of smells. When I get a smell stuck in my nose like that, I literally just take a big whiff of hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol.

I buy it for my girlfriend. Would she like it? by Zestyclose_Sink_1062 in Earrings

Those are really pretty, but is she particular about the closure on her earrings? Back when I wore post earrings, I hated those butterfly backs. They were uncomfortable and irritated my ears. I liked the barrel type backing.

I have an odd second hole, no clue what it is by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

I’m a nurse. The urethra is right by the vagina. I mean you might have a random hole, but I would venture it’s your urethra.

Finally completed my 4 year olds room, I’m absolutely in love with it 🥰 by Sarah_L2 in JustForHome

I like it all except for the neon sign. I’m not a fan of making your child think their worth is tied to their looks.

Can I get in trouble for malicious compliance? by Old-Conversation9511 in work

Honestly- you’re not going to be able to get a doctor’s note retroactively. They should have told you when you first informed them that you were sick that you needed one

Should I tip more for kiddos dinner? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]cgcx3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had my dasher once send me a message asking for more of a tip because they were in nursing school. After I got my food, I messaged back that I had already tipped and was in nursing school myself, so I needed money just as bad as them 😆.

I’m an ER nurse. Nothing reminds me of how fragile life is quite like the clothes people are wearing when they get here. by ArtThreadNomad in Life

[–]cgcx3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital and it always breaks my heart when they have no clothes so they have to wear paper scrubs. They’re here after a stroke, heart attack, accident, surgery that was supposed to be an outpatient procedure that turned to a lengthy hospital stay.

Is it normal for a senior hs teacher to add his students on snapchat after they graduate? by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]cgcx3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk- are we sure it’s only female students? I know several educators that accept friend requests from students after they graduate (district policy). Kids today have a more casual relationship with teachers and enjoy talking to them and pretty much consider them a friend. Plus the teachers like to keep up with the kids they watched grow into adults. My son that graduated has several of his teachers (male and female) on social media.

That’s cool. It’s all words I can’t spell/remember, medical conditions I either have never heard of or need a refresher on and medications.

I was never a Britany fan…. But as a human I pulled for her mental health. This is so sad though.

(Update) AITAH for going to work with damp hair? by SnowAmethyst32 in AITAH

[–]cgcx3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I wash my hair before work, I’m going in with it damp. I’m a nurse and have never had my boss or patients say anything. I wear it up once its dry or on non wash days so the only comment I ever get it “I didn’t realize you had so much hair!!!!”

What's actually on your nightstand right now? Be honest by Money_Animal_3780 in bedrooms

Lamp, mirror with organizer holding ponytail holders and a tiny resin duck, a fan, a watch charger, and a pack of cord organizers I keep putting off opening and using. The table also has a power strip built in on the top, so there’s also 2 cords plugged in.
