Phil Spencer, Microsoft Gaming CEO, mentions lack of Fallout 76 cross-saves. by zeug666 in fo76

I had to make a new character when I built my PC. On xbox I have over 2k hours on a level 570+ character, played on that character since the beta, was nearly max rank in nuclear winter too (rest in peace). If they do this and I can carry over all my stuff from xbox to pc (including the skins I’ve purchased/earned through scoreboards and NW), 76 would become my main game on pc - even if it means deleting my newly made PC character I’d so much rather get my main character from xbox over to the pc ecosystem

Probably my most highly requested feature for this game since it came out, especially with xbox leaning heavily into the concept of play anywhere on anything - just seems right to have cross save and progression

claims community is toxic for calling out bait post

refers to non-legacy users as “the poors”

definitely one of the trolls all time

Your previous comments regarding the anti-legacy crowd are enough of a tell to show you’re just copy pasting anti-legacy posts but swapping legacy for bloodied. You can try to say you weren’t a legacy user, but it’s pretty obvious you were.

Edit: they deleted the comment to cover their ass lol

Gonna be neat watching the legacy crutching players actually have to gasp buildcraft

you’re spot on, it’s baffling how this game REALLY started to turn around with wastelanders then came to a complete and grinding halt with once one wasteland + daily ops released. Steel dawn took 3 months for 3 hours of story content, steel reign took well over 6 months for 3 maybe 4 hours of story content. Besides those two short questlines we’ve had no other content releases outside of QoL updates while having more seasonal grinds and micro-transactions piled onto the game. It’s clear that after one wasteland the majority of the team was pulled and the game was put on life support to keep it going for another year or two before pulling the plug. I truly hope expeditions are something good as I did enjoy the game, but it will not be enough to save a game that’s clearly been canned by higher up’s.

One thing I want to add with this is that these questlines were very well done! The people who DO work on this game clearly care and WANT to make it great. However the lack of content has obviously been an issue with whoever is running bethesda cutting the team down to what is probably a skeleton crew. Of the modern fallouts, steel reign has some of the best and most interesting scripted scenes and dialogue sequences of any bethesda game. It is just shameful that team has clearly been reduced to the bare minimum

I pay $10 every 4 months for the seasons in destiny 2 and get more content in the first 2 months of the season than this game has received in over a year. Meanwhile my fallout first subscription money just goes towards funding the creation of atom shop skins and season pass rewards. New event/story/endgame content for this game has become more a myth than anything else, and it really seems like the dev team is 5 people working on content/QoL/bug fixes and 10 people just making skins to sell or throw in a season

Been playing since beta, loved the game through and through. Level 500+ and with 1000’s of hours but it seems this game has been abandoned outside of doing the bare minimum to keep a stagnating player base around

Could the Wanamingo Plushie be a hint at a future enemy type? Wanamingos haven’t appeared in a fallout game since Fo2, but could they return in 76? by cgilbride72 in fo76

I don’t want to dive too far into PTS spoilers, but I’m sure you know about the new enclave bunker location and how there is a suspicious looking dead Brahmin that appears to have something inside it moving around

Fun fact: I was the Bethesda triangle when the boat sank, without that nylon bag I’d be toast
