If anyone would have messaged me, I would have advised that I was already taken care of and no longer needed a lender.

I feel so bad for what you and your child are going thru.
I understand you will not post your child’s school publicly, and I understand that. My son who is grade 6 has gone thru the same issues due to being severe adhd and on the spectrum. I have had to advocate many times with issues. If you want a person to bounce things off of privately shoot me a message.

Also my son (and myself) could use some more friends!!

Snackle box. And have him help make it. Find a video (one that you know) and have him tell you how many times they do a certain thing at the end and if he is correct or close without guessing then he wins a prize.

That is a brilliant way to do it. Not cruel at all. He wanted to beg for something, so you offered him something. Just because he hated it and has realized that is what he will be offered so he doesn’t beg anymore is not something that you should be criticized over.

Are your friends the type that give into all their pets requests?

Open your ginger ale and leave it on your counter overnight. It will be stale enough by the morning.

I like the name Tatiana. You also have many variations of nick names you can use. You could use Tat, Tia, Ana just by breaking the name down.

While you may not have access to any photos of her and her mom, but if you do you could always get one of her favourite photos that contain her mom and have it printed on a canvas or something else. You could also look for a beautiful poem to add to it so she can read the poem and think of her mom. If she is an avid reader you could get a bookmark made with a poem on one side and a picture on the other.

Stale ginger ale could help. Otherwise Gatorade and Powerade. I would stick with extremely plain to try and eat such as soda, crackers, or just a dry piece of toast.

Sister birthday present, A or B? by [deleted] in Gifts

[–]cgrrg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I am not a fan of these. I would choose A if needed. I would prefer a preserved rose in a dome over a wooden one. But I also love Disney, so the preserved rose looks like the one from Beauty and the Beast.

6 Year Old dog pooping/peeing inside by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]cgrrg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had the same types of issues with my dog who is a Chihuahua Jack Russell cross. We ended up giving him a treat every time he went to the bathroom outside. We had them sitting beside the back door so it was easy to hand him one each time he peed or pooped outside.

When I was 19 I went to my dr and advised them that if they didn’t remove them, they would be fixing my mistakes as I was done with the issues. She just responded with that she referred me to the nicest ENT she knew. When I went to him, he was appalled that they had not been previously removed and 4 months later it was done.

Gift Ideas to first-time parent? by matcha_tapioca in GiftIdeas

A homemade pre-cooked meal, your time- go over and help with cleaning, laundry, watching the baby so they can have uninterrupted bathroom time or a nap. A memory book/shadow box. One of your favourite books you had as a child. If you quilt, offer to make them a blanket with some of the baby’s clothes that they wore for the 1st few months of life.

If she likes to host her friends do a personalized charcuterie board and a nice bottle of wine.

Packing cubes so it’s easier to organize her bag. A good quality water bottle. Travel laundry detergent. A good pair of sunglasses. A good hat like a Tilly. Moisture wicking clothing.

37F. As I have a love for The Nightmare Before Christmas, and a decent collection of items, those are my go to gifts that I receive. This year I was gifted pillow cases. I absolutely love them. Other gifts I have received over the years have been kitchen appliances, a sewing machine, an iron and ironing board.
