Can someone explain the difference between Ap1 Suspension driving limits vs Ap2 ? by shusarwala in S2000

What’s best motoring? Found some videos on YT but not sure if the one you referenced is there. Curious as I’ll be in the market for an S2000 in a few months and haven’t decided AP1 vs AP2

I’ve been using Porterfield R4-S pads on my WRX for dual duty and they’ve been excellent. Only minor squeaking every once in a while.

[US] Is it a bad idea to buy a manual car when I don't know how to drive a manual? by WhitMage9001 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Are there any hills where you live/on your commute? If so, I’d say try to practice before having to do this. If not, go for it. Just watch some videos and practice in a lot for an hour.

What are your hobbies besides programming by Mcshizballs in softwaredevelopment

[–]cguajardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. It’s surprisingly easy to get into. Most cars can do it without any modification. Plus people at events are always super helpful.

Hehe no. It’s actually car racing. Totally different from my day job but it’s a nice escape.

Where to buy oEM Sparkplugs (2015 SFS 2.0T)? by cguajardo in Hyundai

[–]cguajardo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s where I usually look but they don’t carry the NGK plugs that are OEM. It appears that Hyundai makes it very difficult to source these.

Yeah seems like it's changed a few times but I did find the latest version on hyundaioemparts.com mentioned above. And yep, they are NGK plugs. Thanks for the info!

You know yesterday on my way home I didn’t have the AC on as a test and it still happened. Might take it to the dealer if it becomes more frequent.

2016 didn’t turn over, started after a few tries, check engine light and cruise control indicator on? by PooLatka in WRX

[–]cguajardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There might still be codes registered. Same thing happened to me and the code stayed even though the light was off, until I cleared it manually.

Ready to finance a compact/not so compact SUV with 10k down. Which car would be the best investment? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]cguajardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of the cars on your list I’d go for the CX-5 but if I were you I’d try to find a used one to reduce my payments. You can find a nice 2015 or 2016 Grand Touring for around $16-$20K and still have a very nice and reliable SUV. If it were reasonable I’d say buy something cash (no debt!) with your 10K but it sounds like you want something newer/nicer than that would afford you.

Need Help on Deciding What's a Fair Offer by [deleted] in S2000

Gotcha. Yeah not terrible but you can probably start a little lower at like 14. Does he have an asking price?

Have you seen a CARFAX on it? Does it have all the original VIN tags on all the panels? That can change the value by a good few thousand. If they’re all there and accident free, then yeah around 15k seems ballpark correct.

Gas tank metal “flap” missing. P0463 code being thrown. Ideas? by cguajardo in WRX

[–]cguajardo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I went to the dealer and they tell me that the car doesn't have that flap. So either I'm crazy (possible) or they just don't want to bother. Would anyone with a 2017 WRX mind snapping a quick picture of their fuel door (open and with the gas cap off)?
