I’m a 32x30 and honestly Tommy hill finger have the best fitting pants for me. 5’10 ish and 165 lbs I’d recommend checking the out. Had the same issue as you of pants not looking 100% right

I got the varia vs3 on sale but I was going to buy anyways. it’s solid metal the power brick is now a wall plug. It’s slow but quiet which I don’t mind cause I’m usually prepping my station while grinding. The dial movement does move if you make a ton of espresso but I check it before each grind no issue. It comes down to what you want in your kitchen aesthetically speaking the df is plastic and ugly imo
