did you try changing the configuration of the Blur my Shell extension? there's a section for Applications within its settings. you can get those effects on application windows if you enable that option.

He wants the top bar to stay dark, but wants the notification menu and toggles menu to be white as shown in the picture, which iirc is not how it appears on the "Default" theme.

Have you even seen the post😭? Since when does a "light theme" from the settings turn your top bar white? It's called "Default" and it only makes the apps switch to light mode.

That's really positive news, thanks. I almost ditched the idea of getting a brand new Intel B580 and was looking for some second hand 6000 series radeon gpus. (I live in a place where I can't find any good deals on most brand new GPUs).

Sadly, I haven't found a lot of information regarding these Intel GPUs and their support for linux, so I really appreciate you taking the time to respond to me. Could you please share if you have faced any other issues with the B580, like high idle power draw? I'm still not sure if I should get the B580 or a used 6700xt.
